After more idle time than I care to ponder, We suddenly have an influx of registered users, 22 I believe so far. Unfortunately I will not be approving them, at least for the time being. None seem to have valid e-mail addy, none have verified their e-mail, and they all seem to be less than a year old, along with other issues.
These arouse concerns that the new registrations may represent a 2026 version of the 1995 "gas house gang", or some other spam group, so far they certainly fit the profile. since they come here from many Countries we know they're definitely not of Bond County and local area.
For now I will conjure on how to best handle them, Until then they will remain as unconfirmed users for at least 30 days, and then be deleted automatically unless they correct the errors and/or I approve their registrations. At present I'm inclined to place them in a private group and approve their registration.
I am available if there are any questions.
Please don't feed the Moderators, people food makes them cranky and hard to manage!
