Bug lite and a cold BEER.

happiness in admin land; Wed, 16 August 2023 19:00

Just down in the basement checking the admin logs after reviewing the "User Activity" (link at the bottom of the main page) and I had to laugh.
time after time to the registration page the bots and spiders go.

At least I presume they are Bots (my worst nightmare is unknowingly being caught in my own "hellhole" because of some grevious error I've made). Yesterday before I turned registration on, I was getting hundreds of errors a day, every day and the were increasing.

Mostly for not completing registrration or COPPA a few denying links because they wern't registered/permitted and such. today I had 4 And I knew the source of them (my testing wifi elsewhere to test functions on a different computer).

You would think that in almost 20 years I would have had more than just a hand full of registered users

But you would be wrong, but I imagine you'd be wrong for the wrong reasons. we don't know what we don't know, but some of us want to know Who what When Where and the all important Why?.

But for right now happiness is a "Bug lite and a cold BEER." ..... now thats funnier now than it used to be.

Along the same lines, watch this interview of twitter/now X new CEO talking about X's plans. This is headed towards us at an alarming rate.

Seems like I am watching our society slowly disolve under the weight of so many people trying to rewrite the rules.

Engineers Discover Nationwide Cellular Network

Report: Engineers Discover Nationwide Cellular Network Connects Election Equipment and Gives Federal Government Access to Election Systems at Precinct Level

Report via Joe Hoft

Guest post by David and Erin Clements

A growing majority of Americans know the 2020 election was fraudulent. Many analysts who have been studying election integrity have concluded that there had to be a two-way connection between local election electronics (electronic poll pads, tabulators, election management systems, voter databases, etc.) and a centralized data collection system responsible for monitoring and manipulating the election. Fingers have rightly been pointed at all-inclusive election management software, the Albert Sensor system, Scytl and Edison, and the Election Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center (EI-ISAC).

This incestuous collaboration between the Department of Homeland Security, the Election Assistance Commission, leftist/globalist funding, foreign companies, and their private partners, allowed for the real-time monitoring of all election data, and more importantly, the ability to change the results.

Pritzker Signs Bill

To Explore Creation Of New State Flag; Mon, 14 August 2023 17:49

Pritzker Signs Bill To Explore Creation Of New State Flag

Quote:

Today, Governor JB Pritzker signed SB1818 which creates the Illinois Flag Commission for the purpose of exploring the creation of a new state flag and developing new state flag designs. The commission will make recommendations to the General Assembly concerning whether the current State flag should be replaced with a redesigned flag. By September 2024, the Illinois Flag Commission will select no more than ten potential flags and submit a report to the General Assembly by December 2024.

“Throughout our 205-year history, Illinois has boasted two official state flags—and it may be time we create a new one that exemplifies the values of our great state,” said Governor JB Pritzker. “Today, I am proud to sign SB1818 to establish the Illinois Flag Commission to aid us in this process as we decide what our future flag should represent.”

“Our state flag demonstrates who we are as one Illinois, uplifting our history and our values. This bill will ensure the Illinois flag continues to be a symbol of progress and the ideals we uphold with the utmost honor,” said Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton. “With the creation of the next flag of our state, we are ushering in a new era that will represent every Illinoisan and commemorate how far we have come so we may go even further together.” Full Story
I still don't agree with this Man! I don't agree with this, we have a whole lot more important things that really do need attention, not this politically correct tripe.

Hearing To Allow Bars, Taverns, Nightclubs In Downtown Greenville

Quote:

The Greenville Planning Commission is meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 15 to consider a request from the city.

The City of Greenville wants to change the unified development code to allow bars, taverns, and nightclubs in the downtown zoning district. Read it all here

I don't see any reason why not, so long as its not just nasty dives, someplace nice cool and quiet would be my preference.

Blog

Mon, 07 August 2023 14:15

I have left the Blog activated, It seems to be behaving itself. In fact I kinda like it, clean simple and uncluttered.
simplisity!

It draws only from 1 forum and then only the 1st topic's, I'm anxious to find out if it draws different data based on the users Membership or is it just limited to anon user permissions. Give it a try: Blog Book mark it, but I say its a keeper till something better comes along.
